'A testament to hope': 7 Christian leaders react to death of Pope Francis
4. Sean Rowe

The Rev. Sean Rowe, presiding bishop of The Episcopal Church, said in a statement that his "heart is heavy at the death of our brother in Christ, Pope Francis."
"Throughout his life and ministry, he has been a witness for the Gospel and a champion for the poor and marginalized. Especially in this season, I give thanks for his powerful advocacy on behalf of migrants and refugees," Rowe said.
"In 12 years as the Roman Catholic pontiff, Pope Francis transformed our theology of the environment and recognized the need for LGBTQ+ people to feel heard, seen, and included in their church."
Rowe also highlighted the "ecumenical dialogue" that the late pope promoted, which included the Anglican-Roman Catholic Theological Consultation in the United States of America.
